Here are a few before pictures…
*that’s my darling dad, he and my husband replaced our leaky shower which kick started my project!*
So, we’re done!! Sorta…I mean, there is always room for improvement. Like a clawfoot tub.
But that will be in the future….the distant future….
Let me know what you think…
I’ve been looking at it for too long, and you know how that goes. I can’t see the forest for the trees. Any suggestions are totally welcome!!!
*this is my favorite part…I call it “heifer board“, it’s the Farmer’s Trophy Wife equivalent of driftwood…boards that are around waterers or feed troughs that the cattle rub soft and smooth with their gorgeous silky necks and natural oils. LOVE THIS! I collect it every time we redo the fences and use it here there and everywhere. Remind me to show you my bookcases sometime!*
Love…

Absolutely LOVE everything about it! I have been waiting to see these pictures—and am so happy you took lots. You gave me so many ideas. I love the hooks—the prints—the candles and sheds—and gosh lady, look at you go painting your cabinets! so beautiful!
LOL. Thanks babe! It was a pain in the neck, but worth it in the end….not saying I’d do it again however!
Love Love Love what you’ve done!! The chandelier ROCKS Cathryn. LOVE your “heifer” board – so wicked 😉 Thanks for sharing. I really want to come and visit your place one day and see you of course!!
Thanks and ANYTIME!!
wanna come decorate my basement when it’s finished?! someday it will be a blank canvas….
Ummm YES! I’m in….spending other people’s money!? Sounds like fun! You just let me know when that husband of yours finishes the darn thing….
Beautiful! Looks peaceful and relaxing…
It is…and I love the natural light….thanks!
I love the box of candles and antlers! I have an antler-encircled mirror in my main bathroom and I think this is just the touch that room needs. Mind if I copy?
LOL. Go for it!! I copied Pottery Barn, so why not?! I think that would look great together!
Very Nice…so fresh looking!
Love how you mixed the rustic things with the adorable chandelier!
The pinecone picures are the perfect touch.
Well done…you have inspired me to get going on my bathroom!
Thanks and yay! Make sure you take before pics…it makes the end result so worth it!
LOVE IT! Love the blue…..but most of all i love the heifer board.
Isn’t that stuff fabulous?! And the best part…free! Well, free-ish…my husband does have to invest in it at some point…and the wood to replace it….but I am saving it from the burn pit so that counts for something….doesn’t it?!
I love it. It totally puts my “work-in-progress” bathroom to shame. I’m going to have to start scouting around for my own heifer board next time we’re fixing fence!
I’m sure your bathroom is fabulous!! Are you going to post pics?!
I’m in love with your “heifer board” and box of candles. I wanted to do something like a box of candles in one of the bathrooms here, but can’t seem to find a box! The search is on!
LOVE!
It’s an old pepsi box….so old that the pepsi part is worn off. It was only $20 in an antique shop. They are out there…and thanks, it was a lot of fun to do this little project!
I love it! Your “heifer board” is so cool, I would have never thought of that but it is true the wood gets rubbed so smooth and soft, great idea! I also love how you put together the candles and antlers in the vintage box, you have a creative eye!
Thanks and I’ll bet there is lots of heifer board out that direction…can’t wait to see what you come up with!
