A giveaway?!

I thought that in honor of the last day of summer and

to celebrate the upcoming harvest season, I’d have a giveaway!

How does that sound?!

And up for grabs is a super-cute luggage tag from Rebecca Ray Designs! (Perfect for those winter trips you are all planning!)

The best part of my summer was taking my life long dream trip to Scotland. I would move there tomorrow if I could.

The best thing we did this summer was go “camping” , which involved loading up the John Deere Gator with supper and breakfast goodies and a tent. Then we ventured across pastures to a “camp site ” along a creek in our far west pasture. Here we had a treasure hunt along cow paths, which lead to wild raspberries, beautiful colored leaves and mud!! When we finally settled in for the night my husband and I tucked in our 4 children into the tent, ( the youngest is still in a playpen) and we slept out under the stars. It was beautiful.

Entering- and I swear the best thing I’ve seen this summer is Iris Apfel. Talk about Hutzpah! And some days I think I’m soooooo old, and I am compared to her. Thanks for the wake up call.

Umm, I tried to pickle green tomatoes once. Total disaster, and I am actually not a bad kitchen adventurer! So much for easy. Good on you! Are you selling them at the Farmer’s Market. If so, I have a few $$ and a label for them to sit on my canning shelf!
